是次展覽的發起，源於社區藝術空間碧波押所在的藝術場地因未能滿足娛樂牌照要求，面臨終止合約的末途。空間政策和娛樂牌照法例一直是中小藝團發展的一個限制，也是香港藝術自由和文化生態的一個困境。展覽回應現時碧波押乃至業界面臨的空間、發展和創作自由問題。用游擊的戰略，在碧波押及其周邊地區展開為期20日的創作、表演和活動。以「都市空間游擊戰」的方式，開啟對公共空間、社區藝術空間的新想像。

This exhibition launched when the community art space Green Wave Art was forced to shut down by the government due to the lack of a licence to be a “place of public entertainment.” Space policy and legislation have always been a restriction for the development of small and medium-sized arts space in Hong Kong, as well as a dilemma for art freedom and cultural ecology in Hong Kong.
In response to the current space, development and creative freedom issues that Green Wave Art and the art industry are facing, this exhibition aims to open up the imagination and possibilities of public space and community art space, through a series of works, performance and activities displayed in the form of "Guerrilla War in Urban Space”.

藝術家無創作空間點算好？古有蘇乞兒「奉旨乞食」，今有國際begpacker籌旅費, 美容丐幫索取品牌贊助，行乞行業多元化，有需求就會有供應，沒有創作空間的「空less」Beggar走到街上，在無牌經營的藝術空間門外無牌行乞，只求留有自己的一點空間。
What to do when an artist is lacking of space? We have beggar king So Chan that begs legally with imperial tablet in Qing Dynasty; we also have modern beggars like the begpacker asking for travel money and beauty beggar asking for brand sponsors. Beggar is a very ancient and diverse occupation without licence. Demand and supply. Spaceless artist now turns to Spaceless Beggar, inviting audience to join his illegal begging in the public outside an illegal art space for some space.
